Bubblebead Filters can be used with a low wattage pump, but must be installed AFTER sieve or existing filter system as you cannot put solids into the filter. Manual Valve. Auto Valve available on request but at extra cost. Manual models can be run on low wattage pumps.
The unique and patented design of the Bubblebead Filter means you do not require an air blower to backwash the beads. Its hour glass shape has an air inlet valve in the centre section which, when the Bubblebead Filter is in normal running, water enters at the bottom of the filter and exits at the top. The beads float to the top section of the filter thus removing the finest of particles. When the Bubblebead Filter is backwashed the beads drop through the centre and the air inlet valve allows air into the filter, gently washing the beads.
Bubblebead Filters will provide excellent water conditions both clarity and quality. Although taking longer to mature than a normal filter system, once mature, they are superb.
