Envirex is a totally natural product that degrades solids, at the same time lowering ammonia, nitrite nitrate, phosphates and other unwanted substances in the pond. The result is a more hygienic pond in which disease is less likely to develop.
Envirex does not kill blanket weed but inhibits its growth due to its effect on the causes of blanket weed.
Dosage:
New Pond - 80 grams per 1000 gallons
Mature Pond - 40 grams per 1000 gallons
Maintenance dose is 5 grams per 1000 gallons every 3-4 days. Should be mixed with a little pond water and poured directly into the biological chamber of the filter.
