Install a Bubblebead Filter

Bubblebead Filters can be installed either below water level, at water level or, if using a automatic valve model, ABOVE water level..  Below water level installation - this requires a non-return valve on the inlet and outlet of the filter.  At water level - this requires a non-return valve on the INLET only.  Automatic Model - this is sited well above level.  The secret of the Bubblebead operation is to get the filter to flush to waste as quickly as possible.  Using an automatic model is as near to zero maintenance as possible.  The pump is fitted with a timer.  When the pump turns off the filter automatically backwashes and, if there is a auto refill fitted to the pond, when the pump turns back on the filter then goes into normal running and the auto refill then refills the pond. 

Suggested pumps - aquamax, sequence, red devil or any low wattage pump.

YOU CANNOT PUT SOLIDS  INTO THIS FILTER.  It must be installed after a sieve or existing filter system.  Please contact us for further information.
